(Initial pitch day_less than 5mins){
Today I pitched my idea to James for my FMP again, he seemed most displeased that i didn't want to use PHP. He also said that my idea lacked a unique USP, which I guess was kinda true in a waybeing a standalone RPG built in Flash which saved your game using Shared Objects. So now I'm going to research how to do PC to server to phone PHP-ness and see if its an avenue I want to explore. Mightbe a good idea who knows.}

(research on Flash lite and PHP){
From what I've learned I would have to build two flash applications in order to allow this new designidea to function. One a graphic intensive file where the player can play the main game within a webbrowser and store there data into a shared object.Two a cut down version of the main game publishedfor flash lite where by the player can resume a shortend gameplay experience (training up characters,Buying weapons/Items/squads not in the main game etc). And then send the contents of this shared objectto the web server and trough php update the players user profile. Perhaps rethinking the SO useage and
trying to push a MySQL database would be a better way to load and save data from phone to computer?I need to see how php deals with shared objects and wether or not this is possible.}

(went to uni and attended professional practice){
Good seminar on how I need to present myself as a valueble asset to an employer rather than just another post graduate with a degree. Focused on how we saw ourselves and how we should try to workto our personal strengths, and see how those influenced our skills sets. At home I Began to roughout a working design for a buisness card and, building it in bryce.}

(Went into Uni early...){
So I could work on my MySQL database (didn't really have a clue what I was doing), until Dave helpedme to set up a basic MySQL database with two tables.Jay then took this lesson further and demonstratedat length how PHP can be used to pull data out from MySQL databases and display it as HTML. AttendedContextual Practice seminar, still have yet to ground my idea for my dissertation.}

(Tutorial with Tom & Jay){
Attended a tutorial with both Tom and Jay and explained my project and how I think it will function.Jay really liked his coined term "play anywhere RPG" and expressed interest into how I could beginto code and build my MySQL and PHP save engine. Tom explained how I could achieve a 3D render file withtransparency by importing the Quick time render into Adobe premiere and green screening it. I need todo some tests to see if this will loook effective. We also discussed the proposal document and had someof the sections that I didn't understand explained to me.}

(Worked on visual Design){
Contiuned with the render for my buisness cards and began to study how I can forge a new style from within
the anime/manga style. Experimenting with mark making and examined several manga artists namely: Junko
Mizuno, Aoi Nanase, Tinkle, Jeykll and Hyde and Koge Donbo. All of whom have carved out a niche in the
market with individual styles borrowing from the anime aesthetic.}

A certain Program onto my computer only to find that I didn't really need it to complete my project. Also continued to design and create my games world with visual refferences. I need to devise a plan to get the most out of my working week in order to present a lot of indepth infomation at my friday tutorials.}

Designing my buisness cards to give them some professional polish and stand out. Decided to go witha theme that showed how I like to create ideas and them see them through to fruition. Also continued with my drawing and deisigning out my games characters.}

My new approach to designing characters for this project, starting with the platform of manga as a base and workingtowards something that is essentaily "manga" but retains something of its own that stands out and is taken as being stylised but yet not too withdrawn from its original aesthetic. Experimanting with deformation and the "cute" look in order to make my characters appealing.}
